A Virtual Conversation with Ann Douglas

At Parenting Now, we are pleased to partner with the Positive Parenting Community Committee and the Early Literacy Alliance of Waterloo Region to host a virtual conversation with celebrated Canadian author and parenting expert, Ann Douglas.

Ann is the author of an array of practical and informative books on parenting. Her most recent book, Happy Parents Happy Kids, explores the very important topic of parent self care and well-being. Ann describes her book as “a no-guilt guide to boosting your enjoyment of parenting while at the same time maximizing the health and happiness of your entire family.”

Join us on May 12 (8:00 pm to 9:30 pm) in a conversation with Ann about how we can navigate the difficult challenges of parenting through a pandemic, being mindful of our mental health as well as the mental health of our children and teens.

We are hosting this event in the evening so that as many parents as possible can attend….hopefully, once kids are settled for the evening so that you can sit back and enjoy yourself.

Ann will speak for 45 minutes and her talk will be based on her book, Happy Parents Happy Kids. There will then be an opportunity for questions to Ann or for interactive conversation.

The evening will be moderated by Wanda Kampijan, Community Connector with the YMCA and co-chair of the Positive Parenting Community Committee, and Diane McGregor, Manager of Parenting Now.

The event is free but registration is required. To register, go to: https://www.crowdcast.io/e/hgmvaq8p
